Yoga Therapy for Couples and Families

Use yoga as a vehicle for enhancing relationship, connection and conversation with your partner.

You remember how things were early on. So excited to spend a weekend snuggled up on the couch together.

You can recall the feeling of butterflies in your stomach, but were you just young and stupid?

Buried under responsibilities, it would be impossible to get back there.

Move from mindless babble to conscious communication.

It’s not that you hate your partner. Every day is just more of the same.

Pay the bills. Stare at your phones in separate rooms. Same tuned out conversation after work. “Wait, what?” And realistically, there is nothing new to talk about anyway.

You’re two heads floating around separately in the house.

Get back in touch with your own body, and your partner’s using the embodied approach to working on relationships. It opens new doors of awareness to enhance your time together and apart.

Effective yoga therapy sessions for couples.

We know that an individual yoga practice can help with putting us in a better place in all we do including engaging our relationships.

Yoga Therapy for Couples takes this concept into our relationships.

An integrated approach that has been phenomenally successful in helping those in committed relationships to find a deeper connection, greater awareness and understanding, and more meaningful communication.

Learn skills to deal with issues more effectively, experience greater intimacy, value differences, and find that an embodied and mindful approach to relationships often has many amazing and unexpected results.

What’s in a Session?

Using a truly holistic lens, you, your partner and I will discuss your needs, concerns and desires for yourself and your relationship.

Incorporating mind, body, and soul, we’ll start with safe warmups to get some blood flowing. Then you and your partner will both set personal intentions for the session, for what you want to get out of it.

From there, you’ll do a few partner postures. Do you remember what it feels like to touch your partner? Feel their breathing?

You and your partner will share your experience of touch and communication, and how it’s showing up in your life. As a team, we’ll decide what practices will best support your relationship with yourself and your partner. You’ll both leave with a clear action step to work on to find more happiness.

No yoga experience required to get embodied with your partner.
